AI credits
$0.01 a credit. No subscription needed.
AI jobs are paid in credits, and you pay for the work a job actually does. Individual includes 2,000 a month. Anyone can buy more: one-time packs, credits that never expire.
You set the ceiling first
Before a job starts you see the most it can cost and set your own spending limit. When it settles you pay only for measured usage, and the rest returns to your balance.
No surprise bills
There are no automatic overage charges. A job that would exceed your balance or your limit does not start. Monthly credits add to your balance rather than resetting it.
Bring your own model key
Run a job on your own model provider key and it uses no model credits; you pay your provider directly. The job still uses compute and the 1-credit platform charge.
How a job is charged
Three parts, all shown on the job and in your credit history. Model: the tokens the AI model read and wrote, at 3× the provider's published rate. Compute: the processing time the job used, at 3× our hosting cost. Platform: 1 credit per job. An interrupted job is charged for its verified usage only.
Tokens measure the text the model processes. Credits are what you pay. Your account shows both for every job: input, output and cached tokens, and the credits charged for them. Annual subscribers get the same 2,000 credits each month, 24,000 over the year. See agent access and launch status.

Frequently asked questions
Billing and your plan
How does billing work?
Monthly or annual, through Stripe. Annual is $348 a year, which works out at $29 a month and saves $120. AI work is paid in credits at $0.01 each, with 2,000 included every month and no automatic overage charges.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Cancel whenever from the Stripe billing portal, signing in with your subscription email. You can also choose Manage or cancel subscription on your studio account page. You keep every model you have saved.
How do I sign in after I pay?
Checkout emails you a one-time sign-in link. Later, open your studio account and request a sign-in link with the same email you used at checkout.
Can I buy AI credits without a subscription?
Yes. Credit packs are one-time purchases at $0.01 a credit and need no subscription. Credits do not expire, and credits you buy add to any monthly credits your plan includes.
Do you offer discounts for startups or academia?
Yes. Email streamline@vectorstreamsystems.com with proof of status. We offer 50% off for qualifying organizations.
Your models and data
What happens to my models if I stop paying?
You keep the SysML files and reports you export. Hosted account features and AI work depend on your plan and credit balance. Save your work before your subscription ends.
Where does my model data go?
Files you open in the editor are processed in your browser. Account-based AI jobs send the supplied specification to the configured service and model provider, and generated models and job records are saved to your account. Review the data requirements for your programme before submitting a model.
Can I run it on our own network?
On Enterprise, yes. The studio is a folder of static files behind any web server, including fully offline. The agent needs the proxy and an API key, so an air-gapped install simply has no agent.
Is MBEstudio open source?
No. Source access is available under agreement on Enterprise.
